In 2000 this ratio was 2,65 percent in USA and the average was 1,8 percent in EU while it was 0,6 percent in Turkey. Besides sustaining the advancement and finding effective solutions to diminishing resources, the main aim of Research and Development is to reveal the proved facts.

CoreLink Research and Development department maintains scientific and technical software projects about Information Technology.Having allocated one quarter of its human resources to Research and Development activities, CoreLink has a vision to produce information centric added value for itself and consequently for its country.

Within 18 months period, Research and Development department had contributed two main products to Information Technology market: Hot Spot Billing 2.0 and CoreLink Telecom Automation (known as Orbital) 2.0. Hot Spot Billing is a package written for the aim of billing wired and wireless networks’ Internet use. Orbital is an Integrated Customer Management Systems coded for Telecom Operators. Over integrations, the system coordinates ERP (Minerva), Billing (DCP and Verso), SER, and Artech Dialer Manager. It gathers customers, reseller partners, help desk operators and system administrators under the same umbrella. The online system through which the clients can view their Call Detail Records and invoices synchronously, and through which reseller partners can follow up their commissions beside customer provisioning is utilized in Gisad Telecommunication Company for more than 20 months.
